Blend
Cabernet Franc and Grenache Bouschet (or Alicante) vines from massal selection, in equal parts. Grenache Bouschet (or Alicante) has been widely cultivated since 1866 in France, and spread from its original birthplace to our old family vineyards before 1923.
Ageing
Matures 24–36 months in carefully selected barriques that do not bring wood scents.
Colour
Full ruby red tending to garnet, balanced and brilliant.
Fragrance
Full, noble and developed bouquet with intense notes of black fruits and hints of plum and blackberry.
Flavour
Also full, of great finesse and authority. Rich texture, elegant and unique, deep and soft with a long and pleasantly tannic closing.

The Story of Ll’Amor de’ Santi
This is the title of a 15th-century prayer in the Tuscan language that the farmer, together with the parish priest, used to recite in the fields, invoking the protection of the saints against misfortunes and to have a good harvest.
Tasting Notes
The wine is expressive and full-bodied, with a rich plum flavour but very high-end, with a hint of fresh blackberry on the palate. The aroma is layered, light and entwined, and despite its age it is still full of vitality. It is full and dexterous, and the tannins have a silky leather feel. In the mouth there is a slight spice sweetness and pungency; the aftertaste is long and rich, and the tannins and warmth complement each other.
