Blend
Merlot with small additions of Cabernet Franc. Merlot vines from massal selection of 50–70 year old vines; Cabernet Franc vines from massal selection of our old vines.
Ageing
Matures 24–36 months in carefully selected barriques that do not bring wood scents.

Ruby red tending to garnet, velvety yet brilliant.
Fragrance
Very fragrant and rich with intense notes of cherry, plums and hints of toasted spices.
Flavour
Authoritative and persistent, with soft and elegant tannins.

The Story of ’L Bruno de’ Venti
The story goes that many years ago, the woods surrounding this vineyard were the refuge of a dark skinned recluse with piercing eyes, very attractive to women.
He lived by poaching game and doing whatever he could. No one knew exactly where he lived, but from time to time he appeared near the Poggio ai Venti vineyard, and so the people hereabouts called him “’l Bruno de’ Venti” — the Dark Fellow of the Winds.
Tasting Notes
When you open the bottle, you can feel the rich aroma, very passionate, strong and firm in style, refined in quality and elegant in appearance, steel straight at the core, firm and full of muscle. Deep ruby red with exotic fruity qualities and a hint of black cherry flavour. Strong, determined, full of strength, but also charming and seductive.
